The Bowmanville Toastmasters Club is a member of Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organization. This worldwide organization is dedicated to helping its members develop better speaking, listening and thinking skills through impromptu speeches and through manuals of self-paced prepared speeches.
Our club is composed of men and women from all walks of life. We are young and young at heart. In our friendly and supportive club atmosphere, members gain self-confidence through positive, constructive feedback. Appointed evaluators and peers offer written and verbal suggestions and praise. Members learn how to organize and chair meetings as they take turns leading specific meeting activities. As we participate in the program, we build our communication and leadership skills while having fun!
We invite you to attend one of our meetings. Guests are always welcome and there is no charge.
